That seems terribly early to be going around shooting people. Most uncivilised.

What on earth did they need 8 ambulances for? The NHS is simply profligate and unfit for purpose.

Good point.

My son, however, is currently about 200 metres away from the scene of the crime with his child minder :yikes:

I drove past about 6 police cars this morning, but all I could see were some coloureds being questioned and didn't really give it a moment's thought until I heard the news.

Well they're not getting any deader and it's currently about the most policed place in the whole of the UK, so he's safe as houses.

Aren't you statistically speaking more likely to be murdered by a family member than a complete stranger though. Not just you, but in general. Though in your case I imagine the chances of being throttled by someone who knows you well is undoubtedly increased

Indeed. By the sounds of things, even one ambulance was superfluous.

You think the gunman is going to pop back to the scene of the crime while half the Met is there? It's clearly a hit, so the fellow undoubtedly sped off to Enfield or somewhere. I'm probably closer to him right now than your son is.

It's like that for everything now days. 8 people in my street the other day to dig a little hole. Waste of resources.

Plus they like to make a big deal of everything. 'The Homicide and Major Crime Command has been called in.'
They been watching to many American cop shows.

additionally here are some comments on the article
'An hour later she posted that most of the ambulances had left "without lights flashing"

Are we going for some sort of poetic award? Lizzy Holsgrove I do not like you either! have a bit of class woman.

We can cross Dalian Atkinson off the suspect list.
