What kind of brain comes up with a phrase like that? It's a drink after work, díckhead.

I do like it indicates that it won't go on too late. better that way no confusion later.

Did you see the thing yesterday where his former shadow environment minister revealed he thought poor people could borrow from hedge funds and didn't understand how Article 50 worked? :hehe: It's increasingly clear that he's just thick

I could improve Labour's poll ratings overnight by instituting one, simple rule: 'Jeremy isn't allowed to speak or appear in public'.

Was he quote about dads wanting to stay out and mums wanting to get home not incredibly sexist as well? Besides ignoring the many people who don't have/choose not to have kids. I'm far from the biggest Corbyn basher but that was quite extraordinarily stupid

Yup. In trying to address gender inequality, he managed to sound like a patriarchal, regressive dinosaur who believed in strictly-defined gender roles. This in addition to the weird, authoritarian desire to police people's personal time in pursuit of some specious notion of 'fairness', of course.

All in all, classic Corbyn foot-shooting. Like I said, he's just not very bright.

Still not as thick as his "followers" who believe his policies will sweep him to power

No, but his incompetence does make you appreciate that this politics lark does actually require genuine intelligence and ability. Turns out that not just any old muppet can do it.

The other quite shocking thing is realising just how stupid Shameless Milne must be. Given his journalistic background, one would imagine he'd have had something in the region of a clue as to how to go about being a director of communications.

Clearly, he doesn't.

Well he starts with the handicap of actually believing in the nonsense Corbyn and pals come out with, you see? The first thing any decent Comms director should be doing is trying as far as possible not to let the general public know what Corbyn actually thinks as it's so obviously electoral poison.

He believes it? :hehe:

Don't be silly, b. No one really believes that nonsense.

Have you seen that Ruth Smeeth has been sent 25,000 abusive and anti-semitic messages by Corbyn supporters? Not sure what Shami Chakhrabarti has that.

Mind you, here's Jez palling up with the chap who publicly denounced her as a zionist traitor and made her walk out as Jez looked on serenely.

The thing is they really don't see that they have a problem. :shakehead:

Indeed - but how mixed up is this guy in the comments section. Can't count for a start

"The Media definitely wants rid of Corbyn.. all they talk about is how they can wriggle out of the referendum. It's just too good on the Gravy Train to let it all end now ! Several ideas Newsnight had were :
1) Call a snap election , then the New government could just ignore the referendum
2) Just never invoke article 51 and hope people just forget all about it !
3) Call another referendum after they've had more time to work on Project Fear !

Plus 'TV Land' is riddled with JEWs.. I play count the Jew when I watch TV !"

Wise words - what was I thinking. Although I would say any responses to a Facebook post of an Arsenal video would be up there

"Jeremy ****" was a classic though

Yes. There's a chap on Twitter who responds 'Jog on, Steptoe' every time Corbyn tweets. Childish, but it makes me laugh every time. :hehe:

I am early evening socialising tonight, work barbecue at 5pm.

My annual soiree that is not the Xmas soiree. It is naturally going to be a ****ing disaster for me.
