Tonight, a butterflied leg of lamb on the grill. (Moroccan spicing.)

Tomorrow, beef short ribs, smoked over apple for 8 hours. (Bourbon barbecue sauce.)

Sunday, chicken on the rotisserie.

That's the plan, might not set off until later tonight, kids will sleep in the car and hopefully the traffic will have cleared

I enjoy driving on the motorways at night. Never feel like i'd fall asleep but sort of get into a weird zone where I am just watching the road markings as there is nothing else to look at.

Yeah but you get those weird ones european wons on Thursdays and stuff so you take take the Friday off too.

Catholic ones mostly - we had Monday 15th off for Maria Himmelfahrt :snigger:

Not another one till German Reunification Day on Oct 3 and then All Souls day on Nov 1

We don't get any days if it falls on a weekend though - Christmas is **** this year. Well it would be if I didn't have 33 of my 28 days annual holiday still to take
