Do they still have those weird coated chips? I never was a fan.

Haven't had burger king in years. Not as common these days. I used to go to the one in Angel a lot but it's long gone now.

That's funny. Without knowing that, I was planning to do burgers tonight.

Brioche buns, bacon, cheese, lettuce, red onion, gherkin, tomato, yellow mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, napkins.

Nice one. Of course I like to patronise Byron's on the grounds that they persecute foreigners and, as Fast Eddie will tell you, I'm bang up for that sort of thing. ;-)

I think I will have a burger for lunch now. This also will involve walking.

As if I want sushi or some other poncy stuff I can't move for that. but a burger means I have to venture to a train station.

You know, the idea of bacon is a burger is a winner, but, when it comes to it, you'll find that the bacon is actually detracting from the experience. Well, I say 'you'll find', I mean, 'I've found'. I wish you joy of your burger, bacon or no.

Brioche buns, though? Sweet buns? Really?

I shall make my usual oyster sauce influenced patties.

It has to be smoked streaky. The brioche buns are just what we have hanging around. I hold no great brief for them, but they'll do. I have borrowed your oyster sauce tip. As you know, I take the mince, soften onions and blitz it all in the food processor for a finer texture that also means you don't need any binding agent.

Chorizo improves pretty much anything due to its ability to create delicious orange grease. Pesto I would be more sceptical about, but I may try it one of these days.
