Hard to understand what the strategy is. The club seem to be sounding out players without ever making an official offer. As they showed with Xhaka, when they want to do a big deal they are quite capable. Ozil and Sanchez coming in should've been the start of the next stage for Arsenal. But things are really starting to drift again, and it's sad to see.
