beneath our esteemed manager to waste time on? Just wondering since if you were to pick someone to take a penalty, Theo would not be most people's first choice, as the composure required mentally for this particular aspect of the game, really isn't something you see written on his face. It looked to me more a case of "I got tripped, so I'm taking it" on the spot (excuse the pun) decision from Walcott himself.. I hope I'm wrong though.
He was lucky to get a 2nd chance immediately after and converted it with aplomb. "Ah, this will give him confidence for the rest of the game", I thought, but another part of me expected him to become invisible as soon as something went wrong...which he did.
This doesn't mean I'm blaming him for the defeat or anything.

It's like we're surprised every time we get a penalty and haven't got a Plan A.
