Birdhouse in your soul :furious:

Especially that bit where it sounds like a traffic jam.

They Might Be Giants? Fairly annoying.

I suppose, anything by UB40 or Simply Red would piss me off. Utter, utter ****.

Loving You by Minnie Riperton.

Hasn't been on the radio since 1973, but still, it used to piss me off then.

I quite like it being sampled in A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules from the Centre of the Ultraworld.

I expect you are familiar.

 I prefer the 12" remix. I've got it on blue vinyl. A banging tune. :music:

Completely agree. Music for emotional women, Same **** in every song.

and for some reason when I hear 'Rolling in the deep' with that thumping drum sound. I just picture her rolling down a flight of stairs.

Have you considered seeing a doctor, sw? :-( Your expletive-laden unprovoked aggression points towards autism, or possibly Tourette's ;-(

As a "fellow" Irish man I would expect you to know this to be normal discourse between adults.

Hmmmmmmm???

You're less of a son of Ireland than poor departed late Jorge. God bless him.

I haven't done anything about it. My conscience is troubling me.

Songs that come on the radio that piss you off. .

I say this as no attempt to annoy or enrage others but I simply have to say Bruce Springsteen songs.

It is not simply that I don't like the chap's music, many do, but one of the two radio stations to which I sometimes listen appear to feel duty bound to play his stuff every hour.

This morning as I prepared pack lunches I had The River.

I appreciate a large amount of my fellow people enjoy his work, but for ****s sake give the rest of us a break.

Yes indeed. But there might be a bit of a rush on if I leave it too late. You might run out of places, or something.

I notice that most of the songs and artists mentioned seem to come from the past (yes, I realise that they are hardly going to come from the future but you know what I mean).

Does this reflect the radio stations people listen to (I don't listen at all) or the fact that no-one can cite a commercially-popular song from more recent years because THEY ALL SOUND THE ****ING SAME? SAME SAME SAME SAME

It's probably more a reflection of our age demographic, tbh :-( :old:

I really don't think we're missing much. Many of the youngsters I work with agree that things have rather stagnated in this century, and that us old farts had a far more interesting musical time of it. Not that there aren't talented people around still doing what they do well, but there isn't the change and variety now.
