Now I think they are ****ing amazing.

I am still a novice to their music. What tunes should I listen to.

I like the ocean.

I like the 'Pompous Nonces' album.

This is something I can ask for at HMV without any funny looks?

Apparently, noncing is OK if you're considered 'cool'. You get let off scot free. See also: John Peel.

This is where Gary Glitter and Rolf Harris went wrong, you see? Not cool enough.

Whoever is in charge of picking what old episodes of Top of the pops to air on BBC 4 must have a difficult job.

'How about this episode?' seems good. Oh wait here comes Gary Glitter.

This one 'Saville is the host'

Must take hours.

My sister was quite upset. She was looking forward to watching the episode where she was in the audience back in the 80s, but then the Savile thing blew up and now they'll never show it again. :-( She was also quite annoyed as she was stood next to him at one point and he didn't even grope her or anything. Hard not to feel a bit slighted by that imo.

I haven't listened to it for yonks, but ISTR the clattering bass line on Achilles Last Stand on Prescence makes that track quite a listen. Made up for the rest of the album being a bit meh. A bit pffft. A bit bof.

I may be wrong on both counts.

When The Levee Breaks! Drums on that!
All of my love, their best love song?
In The Evening - late classic
D'yer Maker - satirical but actually very good
Black Dog - wot a riff

Moby Dick is a good tune, drum solo goes on too long though imho

When the West Was Won triple live album is well worth a listen.
