signing of recent times. Six years of loans and not a single game in an Arsenal shirt.

Promising talent, going to be a world-beater, sometimes slight problem with work-permit but can be sorted out. Get the fans excited about a new signing. Then the years of loans, the increasingly vague information and... eventually... the trip back home.

Where once we had Vieiras and Anelkas now we have Galindos and....Wellingtons.

Or maybe he's not that good.

Edit: But we do waste a lot of time an effort on some.

Why are we still persisting with Walcott! :)

Always been the case though, hasn't it ? Never understood why Aliadiere hung around for so long. There's the money of course but surely in a career that's only likely to span ten years, playing time should be what it's all about.
If you think we're a poor club in this respect, look at the crushed hopes and aspirations of the many who fell by the wayside at Chelsea over the years.

Pennant being another. Happens at every club and a lot of our youth players go onto make a very decent living from the game, just in the Championship or league 1

Watch out Callum Chambers and Joel Campbell "get out while you can Joel". The new lads (Holding and Asano) should be fine though. Quite clearly the work of talent scout Ben Wrigglesworth (recently appointed from Leicester).

Talent is rarely the issue, all these kids are talented. it's finding the ones that will knuckle down, train and learn that's the issue
