Added to the list failed captains since Vieira scored his pen in the cup final.
Considering all of the failures since I'm guessing he's going to be mostly injured / on the bench most of this season.
Can't see him playing much especially if we're in form new centre half.
Maybe in a back 3 but doubtful...
Kos wouldve ideal for his role....same with Nacho. If you wanted to really push the boat out and give someone the chance to shine with the added responsibility then even Ramsey or Coquelin.
Fairly disappointed the club has treated this role seriously since Vieira left....how do u expect us to have leaders on the pitch when the captain hardly ever plays.
