No top, top quality midfielder or striker. Pogba flatters to deceive; moments of brilliance but he doesn't dominate a game. Germany had the tournament's star player in Ozil; if they'd had a striker of the quality of Giroud they'd have walked it.

There is a somewhat troubling lack of top quality in Europe at present.
