To be fair to her, Corbyn has managed to **** this referendum up in two different ways. He could have gone with his clear convictions and backed a left-wing Brexit, thus being seen to be a/ principled b/ connected to white working class voters and c/ on the winning side.

Alternatively, he could have put aside his own feelings and worked tirelessly to represent the views of his Parliamentary Party in pursuit of Remain vote, thus shoring up relationships within the Party.

Instead, he fudged it by paying unconvincing lip service to Remain, but offering no leadership whatsoever, thus managing to look unprincipled, dithering, ineffectual and a loser.

Two own goals in one go - a new record even for Jezza, I think. :hehe:
