Excellent. There's some mid-level conflab in Kyoto coming up. I'm going to use it as an excuse to take the wife there for a few days of it. Sod the conference.

Loads of times for work but that doesn't really count. Twice before on my own ticket.

I had those Nigel Slater chicken wings, which I make at least once a week since you introduced me to them.

Oh jolly good. I did them with Szechuan pepper and limes once, with a splash of soy. It didn't really work.

Anyone liking Szechwan food go to Sichuan Folk near Spitalfields. Awesome. Very reasonable prices.

Same here - although I gave the Bratwurst a swerve. One doesn't want to pollute one's beer.

I'm going to a Mongolian restaurant tonight - in Munich :gulp:
