I suppose the choice is whether to pay all that money for a new bizjet, or similar for a used 757 with a executive interior fit. The 757 is going to be lovely and comfortable - double beds and dining rooms and a full galley, but it would cost far for to run and won't be able to access the small regional airports which are so often much more convenient than big airports. It depends what he's going to use it for, really. Backwards and forwards to Monaco, I'd go with the Gulfstream. If he's considering intercontinental travel, the 757 would definitely be the more comfortable option.

It's not easy being a billionaire. Decisions, decisions.

This is the politics of envy, you're all just jealous of his wealth.

We can only hope for a few longer jaunts than Monaco for the loathsome ****bag. A brief encounter with a surface to air missile whilst traversing the Atlas mountains is what's needed in this situation.

He seems to have upset you in some way.

I've never met the chap.

If I am honest I would not actually want a private jet.

That weird-looking bird? Lucky number?

Your candour in this matter is much appreciated.

I have no great desire for such a thing, but, given such wealth, a small bizjet would be a handy thing to have about the place.

Imagine your glw wishes to visit relatives in Welshwales. Call the jet, 30 minutes to Swansea, walk off straight into the waiting limo, bish bosh, job done.

But you trusted him with your savings anyway? :-(

The problem with being conned is that it always reflects so badly on the victims who, almost without fail, end up being fleeced due to their own greed and stupidity.

If I was a billionaire I would simply buy Wales and move it closer.

I never thought I'd hear anyone suggest moving Wales closer, sw.

Well, thankfully I'm not Frederick Forsythe, nor afflicted by greed or avarice but the problem with the uber wealthy is that they never pause for breath, or reflect in situations like these.
Anyone can lose a company, that's not where the line gets crossed here.

He didn't exactly state where he would move it closer to, though

God's teeth C, give it a rest! A man who is usually interesting witty and erudite is reduced to a droning tiresome bore whenever the subject turns to airplanes!

I'll wager your poor wife has to roll up that pilot's licence of yours and shove it up your soggy a-hole.

Would you make the Mexicans pay for it?

Another quite tempting option might even be the Pilatus PC12 / Malibu Mirage turboprop type. All the comfort of a bizjet without the cost.

I'd buy it and nuke it. I assume billionaires are allowed to nuke their own property if it pleases them?

I bet the poor chit has to dress up like some 50's BOAC stewardess while she's reaming you out with the document and keep telling you what a "dirty little aviator you are".

She is a very talented little pilot herself, to be fair.

Including those who leave their houses unlocked and get burgled?
