The weirdest thing in it is Jeremy's 'wife'.

She both looks, and sounds like Manuel from Fawlty Towers if he was on Mogadon.

Bizarre.

I would have though that marriage to Jezza would preclude any need for Mogadon, to be honest.

She wasn't bad, actually. Though why would an erudite man want to have as a life companion someone with whom they don;t share a common language? Her English was virtually non-existent.

Yeah. I mean, if I looked (and dressed) like him, I'd be pretty chuffed with that effort.

He speaks fluent Spanish for a start so they do share a common language, just not English

Bit much expecting it to be positive, I wouldve thought.

Surely counterbalanced by it being hosted and narrated by a fully paid up (err, for 3 quid) Labour member who voted for Corbyn?

Of course, I mean what's he got to lose, his £3 membership fee or his job?

Oh yes, it's definitely all a big conspirass. The shape-shifting Bilderberg lizards are all out to get poor Jeremy, who is in no way a loony 1970s throwback commie with about as much appeal to the broad electorate as colon cancer. No way.

Fluent Spanish? **** off, he can barely manage fluent English.

Fluent *******s, perhaps.

Right, it's hardly a fuggin conspirass when he owns them, and he's *famously* not very neutral in these affairs. See Suns passim.

Also, Corbyn is actually polling above Dodgy Dave right now so....

If she's "any good", talking ought to be the last thing on your mind, imo.

Dear God, imagine life in that household.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that they 'enjoy' a vegetarian diet which tastes of self-loathing and regret, and that the house is equipped with hot and cold running sanctimony.

Presumably he needed the Spanish to tell leading democracy and free speech fan Hugo Chavez what a bang up job he was doing with Venezuela's economy.

To be fair, none of us has truly lived until we have tasted self-loathing and regret.

Yes, and to get some human rights tips from that bastion of freedom ruled by the Castro dynasty.

No. She didn't need to. Like the gentleman he was, Pinochet knew his place and would speak to his betters in English.

Good chap, Pinochet. Brought peace, prosperity and stability to Chile and had to kill relatively few communists to do it.

Indeed. Here's the text of his speech to a private reception in Santiago, at which she was guest of honour

No. You've added about two zeros there. Even the worst estimates say 3,000. You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.

And they were only communists at the end of the day
