Did you know you could get anti-ageing gin?

The infant here won't be ageing much thanks to gin.

No, but I did know you can get gin for hounds. And matching tonic water too

I've never really got the whole Gin thing, it's essentially swally for ladies crying on stairs at parties.

I have sampled this but I find it's still a chemically tasting mess. I hear it's handy for your malarias, mind

I don't like the taste much. I wouldn't fancy living off juniper berries.

Right. And you should never trust foreign water.

I never drink tapwater in any country, r.

Have you ever heard of a thing called fluoridation. Fluoridation of water?

Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous Communist plot we have ever had to face?

Yes, his biography written by his son has some amusing incidents of Peter's lunacy; Spike had a tale or two to tell about him as well.

Still and all, I honour and cherish his memory.

Wrong drugs, not excessive.

Speed v Psychedelics

It's a bit more nuanced than that, they didnt mind a bit of speed but Lemmy never stopped.

What were The Stranglerses drugs of choice? I thought they were all all about the brown

Odd relationship with his mother. When he was seeing Britt Ekland, his mother decided to compete by dressing like her in hotpants and whatnot. :-(

Similar to Hawkwind, I think. Bit of speed, I expect, but they were in many ways a psychedelic band.

At least a couple of years now. Bit poncey, and N just gets her sovblonks from Majestic. Junction Road now has a Costa, a Coffee Republic, an independent won, and very soon, in the tomb of The Lion (RIP) a Starbucks. :-(

If you didn't know that, you haven't been listening. Smoke a spliff and listen closely to Down in the Sewer. Then play it again listening just to the keyboards, then again for the bass, and again for the guitar.
