Do you know what I don't miss? The feeling of being challenged on a sunday morning when contemplating the vast bulk of the Sunday Times. It was oppressive, sitting there daring you to fail to read a section.
Truly, the world is changing, and in some aspects, for the better.

When I was a kid, on Sundays, we'd have The Times, The Observer and The Sunday Telegraph delivered :-|

Skinnier than a Sunday, but I took last Saturday's Times on a 1.40 hour train journey and read it back to back. Felt positively decadent.

The redgunamos are not political at all. Decent Arts, Sport section and a glossy magazine for the ladies, I suppose.

Feckin 'ell! ...as a callow youth I would read it cover to cover six days and The Observer on Sunday(I was more like Jorge than Jorge then). The writing was erudite and compelling back then but about twenty years ago it began reminding me of one of those ridicules trendy Hampstead wimmin that dresses like her daughter. RIP

I don't think anyone ever reads all the sections, do they? What sort of wrongcock would read the Property section?

That's the thing, when they're physically there, looking at you, you have to, don't you?

No. I bought The Telegraph last Saturday and did the crossword, read the Arts, looked at the recipes in the Weekend and lined Nero's litter tray with the rest of the ghastly thing. Didn't even bother with the sport.

:-( My OCDness couldn't cope with that. Couldn't cope at all.
