Isn't meet enough?

If you organise just a meet do you meet the person but then stand there in silence?

English speakers love **** that rhymes, f. Willy-nilly, harum-scarum, walkie-talkie, hanky-panky, helter-skelter, chick-flick.

Hmm I wouldn't be surprised at a later date some wise person decides it's too long and combines both words.
