Yes. Obviously.

I saw something on twitter about Gerrard claiming a win could be the dawn of a new golden era  Imagine all of the ****s who'll be crawling out of the woodwork to give their opinions on how great Liverpool are going to be next season :puke:

No sorry. For me Arsenal first, English clubs next, then British clubs, then not bothered. In other words I hope Liverpool win.

Looking forward to the tribal trolling to follow

I mean, as far as english clubs go I actually quite like liverpool (a lot more than most, judging by people's comments on here) but that whole 'supporting english clubs' thing is just an anathema to me.

Or Chelsea in the CL, not that it's likely to be an issue for a while

I'd hope we'd beat them.

Agree with the Arsenal bit. **** the rest of it.

The elevation of Klopp into soon to be legendary status has already begun from what I can see, based on a 2-3 radio discussions I have heard, of course with ex-Liverpool players.

Having with relative comfort beaten Villareal, a ‘better’ side than Sevilla based on league position, I almost sense a degree of arrogance.

Factor in then the magic which Klopp will oversee this summer (triple training sessions anybody?), coupled with aggressive spending on the basis of CL qualification, and they are without any doubt a major force next season.

In fairness, he was a bit of a legernd before he went there. Success at Liverpool earns you all sorts of glowing praise though and if he were to win the league he'd probably deserve most of it too.

Absolutely, he came with a huge reputation and has done nothing in any way to dent it. I am sure many Arsenal fans wanted him and will see him as one that got away.

Delivering a European trophy to the scousers in season one and he will have surpassed their expectations I would think.

I like him, slightly bonkers but there is without any doubt a method to his madness. If they win tonight and have CL football as a result, it will be very interesting to see what he can do in the summer with respect to overhauling a squad with a fair amount of players who have been roundly mocked.

This is actually more provocative than Devon's comment.

I had hoped for more from it, in fairness.

I do quite like them though. Some really nice players over the years, the Mascherano/Xabi midfield is probably my favourite of the 21st century to date.

Next seasons Xhaka/Cazorla midfield will be betterer imo :cloud9:

No, that's actually true, I was never a massive fan of the Gilberto/Vieira axis, much more of a Vieira/Petit duo

Isn't there some sort of UEFA coefficient we all need to be worried about, that needs constant topping up to make sure there are 4 CL places?

If so I'm a fan of collecting the coefficient points.

Agreed. The left/right combination is a clincher for me. I also liked the fact that Petit was a former back.

The Premier League can have five clubs in the Champions League, I think. No more though.
