View Full Version : On Saturday night, the glw advised that we would be rising early on Sunday

in order to visit a local bird sanctuary whence came reports of nightingales singing. An early morning wander in the countryside seemed to me the perfect way to begin a Sunday, so I readily agreed. So she woke me up at 03:45. In the dark. Because 'we have to be there before dawn'. :-(

I've got to be up at 4 tomorrow to fly to ****ing Helsinki. *******s.

Yeah. At least this is just a one-nighter, though. I've got to spend a week there next month :-(

Apparently it is the hearing of it in the flesh, as it were, that is important. There were also bonus cuckoos, with which she was well pleased.
