nothing but go to weddings.Nowadays I mostly go to funerals and I must say,funerals are acer than weddings

I did loads of funerals in my mid-20s to late 30s, and they were no fun at all, in truth.

Even the Oirish ones never particularly appealed. Sure, there was drinking, but there were also uncles trying to borrow the 'price of an aul' pint' and people arguing about something that was said in 1929. :rolleyes:

Now weddings are, in general, **** (B's was good) but funerals are even ****ter.

I've never been to an Irish funeral with a paid bar.

It's getting that way with me, though as I described below, best keep me away from funerals.
