sorting everything out when you've had a car accident is staggerly convoluted and utterly non-joined up.

I've counted 8 separate companies - Breakdown, insurers, underwriters, salvage firms, repair firms, solicioters - who have contacted me regarding one thing or another. It's mental

Seriously, the death of a parent is the most complicated thing on earth to deal with. It's a nightmare.

I put the claim in correctly, but my premium went up because I was deemed to be higher risk. Presumably because I could have been hit by someone scummy who wouldn't have owned up to it and may be in the future. Bunch of ****

I've never ever claimed on any sort of insurance and been entirely happy with the outcome

I assume because of a greater number of accidents and car thefts in the area I moved to.

Honestly, between you and farsh I feel like I own three cars.

Two of which I feel are perhaps too gay for me to be seen dead driving.

man the f**k up, be grateful you're not seriously hurt and get on with it, whatever 'it' is for you.

n.b. if you are claiming against the fellow that hit you hire a car independently and keep the receipts to add to your claim.

He offered literally nothing of any insight or interest.

But he compounded this fact with an unwarranted level of belligerence for such an empty vessel.

I sincerely hope he never returns.
