Election well over a month now, no new government so I think we are going to go again to see if anybody has changed their mind since the last time.

Your Cheneys and Rumsfelds and Bushes actually understand the thing so, while it looks good on paper and is good for morale to have such excellent fellows in charge, there's also alot less leeway for, shall we say, unapproved, off budget activity.

Lefties instinctively shy away from engaging with the issue so are unprepared to deal with it, and us, when their time in power arrives. There's also far less heat as a result.

She told me they were my local candidates, I told her I expected other local candidates.

Turned out I had based my entire election voting strategy on people who were standing in a different constituency, those being the people I saw on posters as I drove around.

On a seperate issue I bumped into Mike Scott from the The Waterboys yesterday. Literally bumped into him, nearly knocked him over.

Naturally I apologised and when realising who it was how we laughed.
