Castle is magnificent, a lot of money has been spent on it since I left the town. Make sure you see the well in the keep, the guide drops a lighted rag down it and it seems to fall forever. Pharos is amazing if you like Roman stuff. The underground works at the North End of the Castle are a bit creepy.

Best seafood restaurants are in Deal. The Swingate pub on the Deal Road used to do good seafood but not been there for about 15 years.
