off with a track that basically uses a rephrase of the piano riff from Step On by the Happy Mondays, who I love, but in 2016 sound a bit dated. The previous PS album was quite good. Oh well, they've done enough great stuff to be permitted a wobbler now and again - the new album sounds like a mix of screamadelica-type dance rock and attempts at some lightweight synth pop. I'm sure they still kick all kinds of ass live though.

I didn't really want to like it. I found myself listening to it the other day, as you do and I kind of got hooked :shrug:
The Underworld album is ace, agreed.

MASSIVE Bauhaus trip these past couple of months. I am bgeginning to realize that aside from Adam and the Ants, Bauhaus may actually be my all-time favourite band. They are certainly the Coolest band ever in my little book.

Still got all their vinyls except the 12" white vinyl Bela Lugosi's Dead on Small Wonder which I sold for 20 quid at a record fair. Regret never seeing them, The Cure or The Psychedelic Furs live.

hanging upside down (they opened with Bela...) and sang like that for 9 mins.
They're never reforming again, but the ressurection tour in 1998 was sold out and absolutely amazing. Don't know if you've seen this - cool as f**k, what an intro!
