Other than that, I shall probably do some pottering about in Hertford, where I shall have a few quiet pints on my own in The Cross Keys, which is a simply wonderful old man pub with no food other than pork pies or scotch eggs under a plastic cloche and wood and booths.

I went away last weekend with nothing planned for the entire four days. Came back and the missus has invited my c**ting parents over for Easter Sunday and on Saturday we’re schlepping the sprog into town to meet her mum and her arseburgers boyfriend.

Still, model railway village tomorrow. Whoop! :-|
