I went through a phase around 96 of drinking pints of the stuff, in pubs, not even in private.

I am more or less strictly a beer and wine man now, the odd whiskey when the mood is right.

Last time I deviated I recall a bloody mary being brought to me with a ridiculously big celery stick coming out of it. Should really have given the barman a good shoeing as he was clearly taking the f**king piss.
