Not blaming Giroud for anything, just pointing out his form is awful and that he, and we, would benefit from him sitting out a few games, or being used as sub.

the lad seriously lacks any kind of pace and vision, not great for first choice in a 1 striker set up.
TBF I think he has a place in the squad but just not good enough first choice for a serious title tilt.

I think he was always going to go #welbz on Wednesday so starting Giroud, certainly over Walcot, was logical enough.

And yes, he's not the paciest in the world but he's actually bloody good at bringing other players into the game.

yes second goal was a stunning finish but you just know where Per stood still with his hands behind his back Keown would've charged out and ****ted the ball away with his spare testicle, something our lads don't even seem to have two of.

indeed but what do you want from your front man, good link up play or having a pop and scoring goals. witness the 'pass' to his left vs Barca when he was less than 10 yards from goal.
His first and primary role must be to score goals, not set up others, others should be setting him up.
