View Full Version : Is there any point in wanting a new manager when the owner just sees the club as a cash-cow franchis

e?

He couldn't give a f**k if we came 1st or 4th, whether we win the cup or go out in the qtrs, as long as we bank the CL money every year.

So why do people want a new manager? Face it. Some septic f**kwit who thinks football's played with the hands, that soccer is a sport for girls and that rounders is a sport for men now owns our club, and he doesn't give a f**k about us as long as the telly deals keep going up.

Hope the c**t gets shot on his new ranch.

squad + spending (big probably) on 1 or 2 of their additions.

But in the slightly longer term what would happen? Not many managers consistently spot decent quality players on the (relative) cheap like the SFC does. after the initial manager swap-effect, we may end up having to spend 100M a year to stay in or around 4th place, LVG stylee.

All he'd have to do is finish higher than 4th and get further than the last 16 in the champions league.

4 or 5 years and there's some stinkers in there.

BUT these are the players he chose and he can't take them any further. So he either needs to get out of his stubborn ways and bring in 4 or 5 new players in the summer or step aside and let someone else have a go.
