Many of you will, of course, be familiar with the play in its original form as 'Le Contrat' by Francis Veber; Sean Foley has adapted the piece for Ken and sidekick Rob Brydon.
Now you might have concerns about going to see such a French farce, lest it degenerate into Ken chewing the scenery, Brydon shouting in a broad Welsh accent and looking bewildered and everyone's trousers falling down.
You would be absolutely correct. I'm afraid that's exactlty what we get. It's all very jolly, and everything, but... instantly forgettable.
In short, don't make a special trip.
