Managers come and go.
He's had a huge turn at the wheel.
It's only Football and aren't manager merry go rounds all part of the tapestry along with new signings.

As was Wenger, of course.

managers to look even remotely like they may have got it right, and that’s before the guy has achieved a single thing.

Since Liverpool last won the league they’ve gone through 9 managers.

Man Utd look no closer to getting it right since their long-serving manager left three years ago.

It is entirely possible that we experience the same fate and it would be less likely if we kept Wenger as manager (based on his record).

If you accept that, then fine. But you can't blame some fans for suggesting you should be very, very careful what they wish for.

Each commendable at their respective clubs but both with completely different job specs to managing a top 10 European club.

There may be mitigating circumstances but the history books won't show us as any more effective than spurs or liverpool during this period.
Accepting his position in the clubs history, it really is time to try something new.
A new manager will be afforded time by the fans with a patience long since lost towards Wenger. He's now in the win or be cursed period which accompanies such a long tenure.
