I've always found him creepy. I suspect he indulges in absolutely vile sexual practices - over and above the sodomy, I mean.

On the bright side though, specific topics of conversation can continue beyond the short-term on a single thread, and it's easier to find what people said before to try and banter them off with butyousaidhousery.

There could be a specific cookery thread, for example, which can keep all that stuff, interesting for some, less so for others, in one place.

It'll either kill AWIMB off for good, or if it actually works properly on platforms other than *******ed Firefox, and on telephones, we might get some new users / old users back.

For all we know Sod might have been trying for the last year to log in with Chrome.

Despite which way you vote in May we are still all European brothers.

Must say I don’t like this concept of a “better viewing experience”. Sounds too much like Jorge talk for me, and I welcome change.

damnedest to steer topics away from football whenever I can and I will not be told I have to stick to football conversations or be cast into outer darkness!

which were considered modern at the time are now no longer modern and in many cases are being knocked down and replaced.

Makes one feel rather old. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/ohwell.gif

I imagine in those mid-late 70s period they were thought of as quite modern. Hideous things mind you. I remember a mate of mine living in one between Swiss Cottage and Kilburn, horrific place.

I see The Stranglers are out on the road, Brixton Academy I think. You attending?

I’m off out on Thursday night to see The Wonder Stuff, breaking a rule I made after seeing a reformed version of The Wonder Stuff in the Town & Country Club over a decade ago.

More evidence if needed of me embracing modern things.

And but for my gentle state it would have been a bloodbath.

However, once I had penned my review/ thoughts on said ‘restaurant’ you will not be surprised it was closed in a matter of months, such is the weight of influence I carry in this town.

I was on the stage there once during a Hawkwind gig.

That was a bit messed up to say the least.

Plenty of time to get lost in many ways and then walk outside and try to work out the safe path home.
