We're not winning the league because we're playing badly and have been for months. If by some miracle we did win the league we can worry about the effect on our fractured fan-base at the time.

Short nose, stewards room or 10 lengths...doesn't matter...win is a win.

Not winning will of course be seen as (abject) failure, worsened at differing degrees depending on the victor being one of the current top two. Cue calls for him to leave or be asked to leave this summer. Neither of these scenarios will ultimately occur.

Winning will be somewhat tinged in time, post the initial euphoria and popping of champagne, by the realisation of the mediocrity we have displayed for most of the campaign. Now a final 11 game winning run a la 2002 would soon put an end to that.

Spurs and LCFC will both wobble. We're having ours now.

However, as Tony says, a win is a win.

It would also send Spurs fans, who are currently insufferable, back to the shadows where they truly belong.

That would most definitely be cause for celebration :-)

I've used that before I know but I don't care.

I think it's called recycling these days :-(

Everyone will celebrate the victory, after all why wouldn't all supporters celebrate winning the league after 12 years ?
