View Full Version : I don't think today is necessarily a must-win and it seems odd to define it as such

The fact is, if we drew today, at City, at Spurs and at Everton, and won our remaining games, that would put us on 79 points - a figure that could very well win the title.

This current Arsenal side should beat that current Utd team. A draw wouldn't be a disaster regarding the title but it would be 2 fairly gettable points dropped imo.

We should have beaten Chelsea at home.

If you're saying that not winning today would underline the fundamental fact that we can't win the league, then you ought to have said the same about the Chelsea result.

And if you did, then today is irrelevant to our title chances as you have already ruled us out.

title worthy points total and a title worthy run of results against the big clubs over the whole season.

So it seems odd to define today as must win

is different. Time to put that stat of not winning there in the league for about 9 years to bed.
I also despise Utd of course which is why I'll be pissed off if Arsenal don't take this great chance to do the c**ts.

Anyway of course it's a must win game, it's those c**ts.

Obviously the 3 points that come with that would be handy :hehe:

see them picking up the 23 points from 11 games in their easy run-in which would give them the title even with your calculations.
