be significantly larger than people in this country so schools and hospitals are getting more for their 100,000 than if the population rows by that amount organically so to speak.

You know full well that refugees are something entirely different. I think we're looking at something like 115,000 of them at the moment. A lot of this could actually be solved by the government dealing with the backlog, rather than trying to subcontract it out to a pisspoor alternative that ends up costing us more. Somehow the backlog of these cases being dealt with has managed to increase by 70pc over their tenure though.

There is, in practice, no bottom line. If we take 1 million... 3 million will come and so on.

And you do realise that a) these people arent all coming here b) if they are coming here then it's certainly not for the benefits, which are far from the most generous in europe and c) there are women, children and all sorts fleeing from a war zone at least partially of our making, yes?

to be less than 50%, so of the 38,000 that applied in 2015 around 16,000 are likely to be accepted. Not a lot at all compared to other countries.

Around 100,000. That's how many entered and applied. Around 60% are approved.

And some of them could fill a nursery. I remember reading about an Iraqi husband and wife and their eight children
