Presumably this dress code states 'Black Tie'.

I saw one ignorant c**t wearing a brownvelvet jacket. I saw several ignorant c**ts wearing black ties. The host (ignorant c**t) wore green velvet.

There is no point railing against declining standards any more; there simply are no standards left.

My only consolation is that I shall be dead soon. Those of you with more than 10 years to endure this post-civilisation have my deepest sympathies.

Never really understood that one.

Thankfully I never attend functions which try to dicate how one should dress.

For my kids christening I did not dress up.

Two funerals I admit I did put a suit on but probably rum not to given they were family members so in that sense there probably was a code of sorts.

The full red carpet treatment. Hugely amusing being amongst the great and good while blending in as complete nonentities.
Following the event we were all carted off to the Grosvenor for the ceremonial nosebag.
Mrs 7 became start struck and wonderfully smashed.
A delightful evening.
