East Africa is crawling with chinamen, r :-(

In Rwanda they are making no effort to learn English or a local language and Mandarin isn't that big in the Rwandan primary syllabus and so Kigali is full of bewildered chinee jabbering away at confused, unhappy locals. In Tanzania it's worse; the gas drilling operation on Songo Songo is being carried out with no regard for the local ecology whatsoever, and the authorities seem powerless to interfere.

Africa is being re-colonised, and this time it's by the Yellow Peril :-(

because it was a Hells Angels pub. It was actually, due to certain traditions of casual and unprovoked violence prevelant in some sections of the local population, the safest place to drink in the city. Provided you didn't spill anyone's pint or tread on their toes, of course.
