a most exquisite performance in an FA Cup quarter final at home to Villa. Amazing skills and in all probability he would eventually have been mutilated by someone like Mickey Droy (though he was playing in the 2nd division at that point) or Graham Roberts.

in England in 1981, so missed Chippy). Dazzling displays of skill were a rarity at Highbury at the time, I agree. Which is why we were all spellbound when Spartak Moscow came and thrashed us 2-5 with some surreal pace and one touch football.
