A feta cheese, mint and chilli omelette.

Stunningly good. I could sell these for good money.

lunch. Rather good, actually. I also make them with chorizo, onions and peppers.

There was just-melting feta in amongst the eggsnot.

Today for lunch I have a tin of tuna and some fruit. :-(

Tonight there will be tartiflette. With saucisse de Morteau on the side.

I weighed myself and I'm not fat after all :cloud9: :eat:

Where did you get the saucisse de morteau? And why did you not immediately make it into choucroute?

Actually, I'm doing less running at the moment and more weight training and general resistance exercise. It's having rather a pleasing effect if I say so myself.

extra grease hit. It works remarkably well. The morteau comes from the nice Ocado man; mais Memsahib n'aime pas de la choucroute :-(

I've done 20 km in the last 3 days. My legs ache now.

get a nice crusty texture on your spuds.

I do about 20 miles a week these days and do weights and whatnot the other days - sometimes both in the same day if I'm feeling virtuous. Running's great for just dropping weight but you can lose muscle at our age without resistance work.

Do you think a choucroute without pommes vapeuse would be worth eating? :rubchin:

What are we eating when we eat choucroute? Hmm? Pork products and mustard with in a sharp, sour, refreshing blanket, that's what we're eating.

To be frank, I always thought the potatoes were a sort of act of kindness just in case an Irishman stumbled in out of the rain.
