When you order a 'fillet' of something in the States, they think you're terribly unsophisticated as they for some reason think it should be pronounced as in the French 'fill-ey'. That's fine, but it always strikes me as odd that they should choose French pronunciations when their spellings have done everything they can to remove French influnces. 'Theater', indeed!

Does the 3+ hours not become a little bit tedious?? I have attended many gigs in my time and think I would genuinely struggle with that duration for any act unless of course it was the great man who kindly divided his time equally between his 3 musical eras*.

end. These days I can honestly say that each new song is so uplifting that one's energy levels are constantly being raised.

He did a solo acoustic set at The Albert Hall about 10 years ago, and without the power and swagger of the band there were moments which dragged in that.

PW also did solo acoustic sets at RAH among other venues. One of the nights I attended at said venue was possibly my favourite ever concert.

To be fair I was very very stoned and it may simply have been the fact I was sitting down.

Now in defence of the security man I would imagine the choice of confiscation v premature exit may have been offered, I honestly cannot recall that detail. In such circumstances I would have chosen to leave.

Worse was the bouncers who confiscated and then f**ked you out. Camden Palace were particularly bad *******s for this.
