View Full Version : I'm fed up with these 'top, top' managers circulating around rich and successful clubs.

If they're that fecking good why don't they go and manage Port Vale and get them promoted a couple of divisions, eh? Then we can have a potteries derby in the CL which will be fun, especially as it takes the pressure off us as Stoke's No 1 rival.

So there! Take that, Mr so-called Pepiola!

Arsene but going from Barca to Bayern to Man City is little bit not stretching yourself.

I'm not sure why any sane person would have expected him to do anything other than he did.

That is my point. The man does not want a challenge. I think I actually have more respect for Tony Pulis.

There will be a massive expectancy on him beyond domestic success.

I am not sure his tenure at Munchen is seen as being a complete success after all.

It was like one of those rare, blemished stamps that collectors used to value so highly. When I was a kid almost every other letter we recieved had our funny foreign name spelt wrongly, such was the world before databases and associated technologies. Nobody could pronounce it either. These days there is some understanding that the kraut H is a Y sound there.

Though I agree that the PL is in itself more of a challenge than Bayern in the Bundesliga.

Manchester City won't and neither would Bayern Munich.

City may well be the most powerful in the land at the moment but one could argue their neighbours are still a bigger club. Well not even argue, they are. Yet look at the relative mess they are in, van Gaal a manager with an illustrious past but he has made a f**king mess of it.

Chelsea and Mourinho this season.

This is actually Guardiola’s biggest test ever I think. In Spain he just happened to have a beyond fantastic group of players and a club that because of the aforementioned group of players could attract almost any other they wanted.

Munich was just a piece of piss but he fell over badly in Europe, very badly.

I believe he'll get his man too, if the story is true. The player will want to go and the manager won't stop him.

Personally, I think, forget what Stan wants; Gazidis will stop at nothing
