It was just as you'd expect, really. A bunch of loony neo-nazis sounding off about *racist term removed*s and foreigners and so on. Mr Yates clearly did sterling work in persuading the loonies to be interviewed and, at times, showed some courage when the nuttiest elements became somewhat threatening.

Sadly, some of the language used was very offensive and clearly upsetting for poor Reggie, who kept having to leave meetings in disgust, which didn't do much for his investigative journalism. Whilst feeling sorry for the chap, one couldn't help but feel that he was rather asking for it. :-(

I find this a bit strange. I've been in altercations with people of pretty much all races, save for the chinese, and I can safely say there is no race I find more scarier than another.

I hardly went to an inner city sink school, but it was probably 70% black and those 70% were from low-to-middle income areas.

Gangs of skinheads? The Met? Now, that used to be the case, and I suspect that the behaviour/image being discussed is to a degree socially constructed from that period. Thankfully the worst excesses of that kind of racism are behind us but perhaps the response to it remains.
