But, even though we have won a few matches this season, we have never got going offensively. What Wenger prides himself with is his team's ability to create chances while playing flowing passing football. Evidently, none of that is true anymore.

One thing that could not be taken away from Arsenal in the initial years of this barren 10 year period, was the fact that we truly played some breathtaking football at times. Fabregas, van Persie, Hleb, Flamini, Nasri, Arshavin etc at various times were architects and participants in some truly breathtaking moves. Who can forget the wonderful counter attack goal by Arshavin vs Barcelona a couple of years ago ( for a more recent example) ? Over the past two years the team has lost its sense of style, with hardly any attacking consistency at all.

This is a point where fans are most divided on. Is it an advantage or disadvantage to show Profit After Tax (PAT) every year? While a football club exists primarily to compete for (and win) trophies, it is essential for the club to exist in the first place. The names of Portsmouth and Southampton immediately strike me
