f**ked if I know what they can do. I guess it is a case of seeing who starts the season well in the Championship - as the travails of Robson, Hales, Lyth and all show, it isn't proving to be a particularly fertile ground for producing openers but at least they should go with a man in form.

Otherwise they should pick the five most likely openers and get Sir Geoffrey to work with them for a while and let him pick the best one
