Why do sonographers persist with the pretence that they can’t tell the sex of a baby at the 12 week

They can see the f**king internal organs in all their glory and yet they claim they don't know. It’s *******s, isn’t it? They just cant be arsed with the extra work of waiting till the baby is in a good position on the ultrasound. Either that or they worry that people will abort if it’s not their preferred sex.

Apparently in France its commonplace for them to tell you at 12 weeks. There may be more scope for getting it wrong at that stage, but if the baby is cooperating and gives you a full up-skirt view, SURELY they can tell.
