Been asked to travel to Durban for a week and my boss has booked his flight Emirates via Dubai for 950 gbp because he wants to avoid using South Africa Airlines which might be going bust.
Problem is the only flights left in that range are with Eithiopian Airlines, AirFrance or Turkish airways which I'm not doing.
Emirates and Qatar are still options but I don't get why I need to go so out of my way to get to Durban.
Have asked to travel by BA for a few hundred pounds more but the company have said I will have to pay the excess.
Any ideas on how I get them to understand my issue with this....I've been told not to use SA, the other airlines are hideousness, travelling to Dubai or Qatar is a joke and they don't want to pay for the extra for using BA.
