One observation from yesterday, it now appears legal to go through the back of a player

to get the ball. Lost count of the number of times Stoke players did this......after a while we started to do it as well but that's clearly fine :-)

He is a senior manager in the motor industry. He lives and works in leafy Surrey, has a great big house and a wife who lunches.

He is a great admirer of the late Lady Thatcher, who allowed a culture to flourish in which a poor boy from Stoke could get off his arse and make something of his life.

He still goes to most Stoke home games though, so you could say that even Lady T couldn't civilise him entirely.
