why anyone gets upset about a chant I have no idea, most are stolen these days

Plus I believe it was Newcastle's originally.......

most football fans don't sing songs about the people they support because it's embarrassing.

Weird when I think back to the start of his career, when his bowling was so unpenetrative that one suspected he kept his test place largely on the back of some decent batting performances.

Generally has one session a series when he does it - quite a feat, but he can still look innocuous. 330 wickets now - may even end up passing Jimmy, will certainly pass Botham

deliveries themselves often aren't actually that spectacular.

leg is that getting down to catches is that much easier.

Re: B.road, I think his streaks come when he finds a rhythm where he's giving the batsman absolutely nothing and seems to up his pace by about 10-15mph, which forces mistakes.

meaning batsmen end up playing silly shots due to the pressure. It was quite a spell he bowled, Stokes deserves a mention as well

Stokes is an excellent cricketer. His technique means I don't think he'll ever make as many runs at home as he does abroad, but his bowling will make up for that.
