There really isn't a great deal of sense in what you said there.

We are losing three players ergo it is likely that players will be brought into replace them so why should one of those players coming mean a threat to a fourth player (who is, and I'll point this out again as you seemed to have missed it, a completely different type of player)

Matured players are less likely to kick off concerning rotation.
Younger players, not so. They don't come in with a view to playing a second tier type role in their early to mid twenties.
Eleneny may not be like for like with Wheelchair but this is where displacement comes into play. It's one less position up for grabs ?
I also don't particularly buy into the rigidity of midfielders. Most can adapt. Wenger has said that much about the versatility of Elneney already.
