Not sure it really needs to ram the point home that what went on was a bad thing on the whole. Plenty of other articles have done that

actually relevant. The far right, xenophobes and racists didn't commit these crimes and neither did it cover them up. The problem is that these guys still aren't talking about the causes of these crimes, the perpetrators or what to do about it.
